Location, location, location. The age-old motto applies perfectly well to this chalet in central Chamonix. Chalet Heidi is only a short walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car and has everything pretty much on its doorstep in terms of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. It would be easy to spend an entire holiday there without ever using the car.

The property is actually an old "Chamoniard" house which has been fully refurbished to excellent standards and is therefore in brand new condition. No expense has been spared in restoring what was an abandoned old building to modern standards of living in the Alps' favourite ski destination.

There is of course no need to sing Chamonix's praise as a ski resort. It has become a buzzing small city dedicated to outdoor pursuits where all nationalities mix on the slopes and in the bars and restaurants. Summer activities are also plentiful with one of the best golf courses in the Alps, mountain biking, hiking, horse-riding, paragliding, canyoning, and many more easily available.

Built over 3 levels, the chalet consists of :

Lower floor : access into ski room, ski room, wine cellar, utility room, bathroom, double bedroom.

Ground floor : separate kitchen with independent access, living room with fireplace, stairs to upper floor.

First floor : 2 double bedrooms with shower, wash-hand basin & WC in each ; family bathroom.

Mezzanine : 2 children's playrooms / bedrooms

As can be seen from the photographs, the quality of internal finish is very high. The kitchen in particular has been very well thought out and a few nice touches such as the wine cellar with glass doors add to the charm of the property. This makes Chalet Heidi a very nice "ready to move in" ski pad within walking distance of the town, and these don't come around very often.
