Located in the small hamlet of Vercland, the chalet is also just a short drive (or walk for the more energetic guests) from the centre of Samoens. Samoens is a traditional French town with a thriving ski business but still manages to retain all of its original charm. The town offers all local services plus a weekly market and is also a popular centre for summer activities such as walking, rafting, parapenting, mountain biking to mention just a few! Auberge Vercland and Samoens are just over an hours drive from Geneva airport and therefore can offer guests easy access whether they choose to travel by plane or by car.

Auberge Vercland has a large bar-restaurant with games area and also offers guest accommodation in the 5 guest bedrooms situated on the first floor. Outside, at the front of the property there is a small terrace and pavement seating (see photos). On the first floor there is a large balcony area offering excellent views of the surrounding area and there is balcony access from most of the bedrooms.

The building was constructed in 1965. It is connected to mains drains and has gas central heating. The total floor area of the chalet is 505m2 of which 295m2 is habitable floor space. Accommodation is on three floors and is laid out as follows:

Lower ground floor: cellar (equipped for bar), workshop, boiler room, bedroom, ski/boot room.

Ground floor: Bar-restaurant with games room, kitchen. Separate apartment with two bedrooms, bathroom, office, living room.

First floor: five bedrooms, two bathrooms.
